MESSAGE
4696（しろくろ）では、オーダーしていただいた「だれかのためにつくること」と、
1616（いろいろ）では、頼まれてもいないけど勝手に「じぶんのためにつくること」
そんな二つの気持ちを大切にしながら、日々、楽しくなにかをつくっています。
4696(shirokuro); we customize the art piece for "someone else",
alternatively for 1616(iroiro); we have the freedom to create the art piece "for ourselves” while indulging in ingenuity.
We cherish these emotions very much, and enjoy creating the art piece every day.
私たちは、DESIGN OFFICEを運営しながら、
ART作品の創作・展示、PRODUCT商品の企画・制作・販売を行っております。
We are running a design office, and also the creation of artworks & displaying, planning, producing and selling of original art pieces.

北九州市内デザイン事務所就職。
4年を経て1998年、
NEOART PERFORMANCE設立。
12年を経て2009年
福岡市に移転の際、
「SHIROKURO」に屋号変更。
2011年個人的に
「4696-1616」を立ち上げる。
絵・マスコットを中心に創作活動を行う。
After high school graduation, Kentaro worked as an apprentice with a sushi master for some time.
After which, he decided to change careers, and started working for a design office in Kitakyushu for four years.
NEOART PERFORMANCE was established with Mayumi Kato in 1998 and was based in Kitakyushu city for 12 years.
They later transferred their office to Fukuoka city in 2009 and changed the company’s name to SHIROKURO.
In 2011, Kentaro initiated an art making activity, set up 4696-1616 and explored various creations. Drawings and creation of original stuffed characters became his main focus.

2013年半ば強制的に
「4696-1616」マスコット制作の
編み物を担当する。
After graduation from Kyushu Zokei Junior College of Art and Design, Mayumi worked for a design office in Kitakyushu for 16 years.
NEOART PERFORMANCE was established with Kentaro Noguchi in 1998 and Mayumi was based in Kitakyushu for 12 years.
They transferred their office to Fukuoka city in 2009 and changed the company name to SHIROKURO.
In 2013, Mayumi was urged to be in charge of knitting some elements of plushy characters of 4696-1616, which from then on became her duty.
